Biography
Anne-Marie Schonk was born on November 27, 1995 in Amsterdam , province of North Holland . He trains in Amsterdam on the basis of the ASR Nereus club. Professional career as a rower began in 2013. Studied at the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam [1] . She is a member of the ASR Nereus Finance Committee and was trained for an internship at the London office of Goldman Sachs [2] .
The first international competition in which Schonck took part was the World Junior Rowing Championship held in 2013 in Trakai , Lithuania . In the final swim of fours with a helmsman, the Dutch rowers finished 06: 37.270 fourth. In this swim, the Schonquck was in the steering position [3] .
At the 2015 World Rowing Championships at Egbelet-le-Lac she won the bronze medal in the competition. She was earned during the competition fours with the helmsman. In the final heat with the result of 06: 28.270, the Dutch rowers finished third, leaving behind rivals from the UK (06: 27.070 - 2nd place) and Germany (06: 25.100 - 1st place). In this swim, the Schonks was also in the helmsman position [4] [5] .
