Biography
Youth Career
During his studies at St. Johns University in 2011-2014, Parker played for the university team at the NCAA [1] . During off-season at colleges, he also played in leagues of the fourth level - in Premier League Development for the Long Island Rough Raiders Club in 2012 [2] and in The National Premier League for the Brooklyn Italy Club in 2013 and 2014 [3] .
Club career
On January 15, 2015, at the MLS Super Draft, Parker was selected in the first round under the general 13th number by the Vancouver Whitecaps club [4] [5] . On March 28, he was declared a member of the newly formed Whitecaps 2 Farm Club, a member of the USL [6] . His professional debut took place on March 29 in the first match in the history of Whitecaps 2, in which the Vancouver were defeated by the Seattle Sounders 2 with a score of 4: 0 [7] . For the Vancouver Whitecaps main team, Parker made his debut on May 2 in a meeting against the Portland Timbers , which ended in a goalless draw [8] . Tim scored the first goal in his professional career on 5 August at the Seattle Sounders goal in the CONCACAF Champions League first round match 2015/16 , in which a 1-1 draw was recorded [9] . Parker helped Vancouver Whitecaps win the Canadian Championship 2015 by becoming the author of the second of two unanswered goals against the Montreal Impact in the return match of the Cup final on August 26 [10] . Tim scored the first goal under the MLS on May 20, 2017 in a meeting with Kansas City Sporting , which ended 2-0 in favor of Vancouver [11] .
On March 2, 2018, Parker was announced to exchange New York Red Bulls for Felipe , $ 500,000 in targeted distribution funds and a foreign player’s place in the season 2018 [12] . For the Red Bulls, he made his debut on March 6 in the first match of the quarter- final of the CONCACAF Champions League 2018 against the Mexican Tijuana , won 2-0, leaving the starting lineup [13] . On September 30, in a match against Atlanta United , he scored his first goal for the New York Red Bulls.
International Career
In March 2016, Parker was part of the US Olympic team , losing in the fight for a ticket to the football tournament of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the playoff matches of qualification for the Olympians of Colombia [14] [15] .
Parker received his first call to the US national team in January 2016, to a training camp before friendly matches with the national teams of Iceland on January 31 and Canada on February 5 [16] , but he did not get into the application for the first match, but remained in the second on the bench [17] . In October 2016, Tim was called to a friendly match with the New Zealand national team [18] , but was not involved in the game on October 11 [19] . At the beginning of 2018, Parker was again invited to the traditional January training camp of the US national team on the eve of a friendly match with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina [20] , but did not participate in the meeting on January 28, remaining in reserve [21] . On May 29, 2018, Parker received a call for friendly matches with the national teams of Ireland and France [22] , and made his debut for the American team in the game with the Irish on June 2, replacing 61 minutes into the game instead of Cameron Carter-Vickers [23] , in a game with the French, held on June 9, first appeared in the starting lineup of a star-striped squad [24] .
