Kukjuak [1] ( born Koukdjuak River [2] ) is a river in Baffin Island in Nunavut , Canada . It originates at an altitude of 30 meters above sea level , flowing from Lake Nettilling on the western side, flows into the Fox Bay of the Arctic Ocean [1] [2] .

The first to describe the river in detail was Canadian explorer of the Arctic and ornithologist Joseph Souper . The river is the northern boundary of reindeer migration. Arctic char is widespread in the river. [3]
