History
The village of Vtroy is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .
TRINK - the village belongs to the gentlemen Achkasov and Nefediev, the number of inhabitants according to audit: 58 m. P., 64; p. [3] (1838)
The village of Vtroy is marked on the map of Professor S. Kutorgi in 1852 [4] .
THROUGH - the village of Mrs. Nefediyeva, along a country road, the number of households is 10, the number of souls is 56 m.
THROTTOWN - the village of the owner at the river three times, the number of yards - 15, the number of inhabitants: 55 m. P., 57; P.; Orthodox chapel. [6] . (1862)
In the XIX century, the village administratively referred to the 1st camp, in the beginning of the XX century to the Dobruchinsk volost of the 1st district of the 4th camp of the Gdovsky district of the St. Petersburg province.
According to the Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province of 1905, the village formed the Vtroy rural society, 559 acres of land in the village belonged to the peasants Peter Gromov and Andrey Burov [7] .

From 1917 to 1920, the village was part of Skaryatinskaya parish Gdovskogo County.
Since 1920, as part of Estonia .
Since 1940, as part of the Estonian SSR .
Since 1944, as part of the Zagriv Village Council of the Slantsy District of the Leningrad Region.
Since 1963, as part of the Kingisepp District .
As of August 1, 1965, the village of Vtroy was part of the Zagriv village council of the Kingisepp district [8] . Since November 1965, again as part of the Slantsy district [9] .
According to the data of 1973 and 1990, the village of Vtroy was part of the Zagriv village council of the Slantsy district [10] [11] .
In 1997, 67 people lived in the village of Vtroy Zagrivskaya volost, in 2002 - 55 people (Russian - 91%) [12] [13] .
In 2007, 43 people lived in the village of Vtroy Zagrivsky JV , in 2010 - 62 [14] [15] .
Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the district on the 41K-164 highway ( Slantsy - Vtroy).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 16 km [14] .
The distance to the railway platform Slantsy is 36 km [8] .
Through the village flows the river Vtroya .
