Story
The plot tells about the epic journey of the main character, which was burned by the Spanish Inquisition on the stake. When he burns, he says goodbye to God and finally dies. This story bears a resemblance to the legend of the Flying Dutchman .

Unlike the anti-Semitic propaganda film created by the Nazis in 1940 , the British film portrayed Jews in a favorable light as victims of unfounded persecution throughout history, such as the Spanish Inquisition. The Nazi film was called violently anti-Semitic [1] .
