Somewhere in the pristine desert near the Shadow Mountains in 1983, Red Miller ( Nicolas Cage ) is happy with the seductive Mandy Bloom ( Andrea Riceboro ). But the life that he created for himself suddenly turns into horror when a group of idolaters penetrates Miller's idyllic paradise, threatening to destroy everything with his vicious fury. The broken man, Red now lives for only one thing - to track down the villains and take revenge.

Mandy was enjoyed by reporters who attended the Sundance . All 13 critics, including representatives of The Verge and Variety , praised the film, making the rating of the film on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of the premiere 100%.
Thrillist called Mandy "Nicolas Cage's best movie of recent years." Other publications also praised the Hollywood actor, at the same time calling the picture "a combination of" Mad Max "and the Ironman competition."
In general, on the Rotten Tomatoes website , the film has 91% positive reviews based on 219 reviews with an average rating of 7.7 out of 10 [8] . On Metacritics - 81 points out of 100 based on 30 reviews [9] .
