Gornji-Streots ( Serbian. Gorji Streots, Gornja Luka ; Alb. Strellc i Epërm ) - a village in the community of Decani in the historical region of Metohija . Since 2008, it has been under the control of the partially recognized Republic of Kosovo .

Population

According to the 1981 census, 2782 people lived in the village: 2768 Albanians, 11 Montenegrins, 1 Muslim and 1 Serb ^[4] .

According to the 2011 census, 3,347 people lived in the village: 1,686 men and 1,661 women; 3263 Albanians, 75 " Balkan Egyptians ", 2 persons of another nationality and 7 persons of unknown nationality ^[5] .

Attractions

On the territory of the village there are fortifications of the 4th-6th centuries and the tower of Shaban Tsuria ^[7] ^[8] .
