Makhorka - a river in the Pushkin district of the Moscow region of Russia, flows through the territory of the urban settlement of Sofrino [1] . On the map of the Moscow province of F. F. Schubert (1860) and in the catalog of rivers and lakes of the Moscow province of I. A. Zdanovsky (1926) is indicated as Dusk [2] [3] . The length of the river is 7 kilometers [3] .

It originates in a swamp northeast of the village of Mitropolie , flows in a southeast direction within the urban-type settlement Sofrino , flows into the Talitsa river at its eastern outskirts [1] . The height of the mouth is 165 m above sea level [4] . The width of the channel is from 1 to 3 meters, the depth is from 0.2 to 0.5 meters. The riverβs waters are polluted with untreated sewage from storm sewers and plants, the river has one tributary - an unnamed stream, part of the river (about 300-400 meters) flows in an underground collector.
