Alpine skiing competitions for women in combination at the 2018 Winter Olympics will be held on February 23 . The competition venue was Yongpyeong Ski Resort . The start of the downhill is scheduled for 11:00 local time ( UTC + 9 ), and slalom for 14:30. Each country can be represented by no more than 4 skiers.
The current Olympic champion in super combination was the German skier Maria Höffl-Rish , who completed her sports career shortly after the end of the Games in Sochi.
American Lindsay Vonn won the downhill very confidently (the second Ragnhild Movinkel was 0.74 seconds behind), but did not finish in slalom. Vonn also failed to complete the combination at the 2006 and 2010 Games.
Michel Gizin was the first Swiss ever to win Olympic gold in combination.
