History

According to the data of 1859, in the List of populated areas of the Samara province, the settlement is mentioned as a state-owned and specific village of Sakma of the Nikolaevsky district at the Bolshoi Irgiz river, located 25 versts from the county town of Nikolaevsk . There were 199 yards in the village and 777 men and 778 women lived, there was an Orthodox church [2] .

After the peasant reform, the village was included in the Berezovskaya volost . According to the List of Populated Places of the Samara Province, according to information for 1889, in the village of Novaya Sakma, Berezovskaya volost of Nikolaev district , there were 137 households and 1,600 inhabitants (former specific peasants , mainly Russian, Orthodox and Old Believers). There were 3 windmills in the village [3] . According to the 1897 census , 940 people lived in the village of Novaya Sakmykovka (Malaya Sakma), all Orthodox [4]
