He graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (1978).
Since 1978 he has been working at the Institute for Nuclear Research of the USSR Academy of Sciences (RAS), since 2001 he has been Head of the Acceleration Complex Department, since 2014 he has been Deputy Director for Research.
He reads a course of lectures at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology on the basics of physics and techniques of accelerated charged particles.
Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (2004).
Participated in the development and commissioning of high-frequency power systems, radio tuning of accelerating resonators with drift tubes, developing experimental methods for studying beam dynamics, developing and implementing methods for tuning the accelerator and ensuring its stable operation with the required parameters.
Developed a new device - analyzer of the microstructure of bunches of the accelerated beam.
Awards: Faraday Cup (1992), Diploma of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2005), Prize to them. Academician M.A. Markov (2008), a commemorative medal "100 years since the birth of L. F. Vereshchagin" (2009).
