Pettersson, Einar

Einar Pettersson ( Swede. Einar Pettersson , September 9, 1901 -?) - Swedish chess player . One of Sweden ’s strongest chess players in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1929, he won the unofficial championship of Sweden (the tournament was held in Westeros ; official tournaments have been held since 1939). Also known for participating in the international tournament in Orebro (1935), held as part of the tour of world champion A. A. Alekhine in Sweden (Alekhine won the tournament). There are five games of Pettersson from this tournament in the bases: defeats against A. A. Alekhin, E. Lundin , G. Stahlberg and B. Ekenberg , as well as a victory over A. Mellgren .
