Biography
Represented by the sports society "Trud" (Moscow), coach - A. A. Seliverstov (Honored Trainer of the RSFSR). He was a member of the USSR national team.
At the USSR Championship in 1974, he became a champion in a premise with a score of 2.22 m. At the same competitions in 1975, he won a silver medal with a score of 2.18 m. At the USSR Championship in 1976, he won bronze with a score of 2.18 m.
A personal record (2.24m) was shown in June 1974 at the competitions for the prizes of the newspaper Pravda.
