History
In 1638, in the sentinel book of the Kozelsky district on the Russian side of the Ktsynskaya Zaseka , among other settlements, the village of Vyazovka was also mentioned. The proximity of the village to the serif line gives the right to assert that the population provided a militia to protect the Kozelsk serif line [2] .
The 1859 List of Settlements refers to Vyazovna (Zhelyabova, Zhulyapova) as the state and owner's village at the Vyazovenka River near Bolkhovsky and Kozelsky tracts, in which there were 37 yards [3] . After the reform of 1861, the village became part of the Kholmishchensky volost, a zemstvo school was opened in it.
In 1920, as part of the Zhizdrinsky district, the village was transferred to the Bryansk province . In the following years, with the enlargement of volosts, the Kholmishensky volost became part of Plokhinskaya , which was abolished in 1929, with the introduction of regional division, after which the village moved to the Plokhinsky district of the Western region . In 1937, the district was transferred to Oryol , and in 1944 - to the Kaluga region .
