Biography

Pupil of the clubs "Urania" (Ruda-Slaska) and " Shomberki " (Bytom). In adult football, he made his debut in the 1983/84 season as part of Urania, playing in one of the lower leagues. From the next season he played for the adult team Shomberki in the lower leagues. Winner and top scorer of the first division of Poland in the 1986/87 season. From the 1987/88 season, he played with his club in the top division of Poland , in the first season he scored six goals, in the second - 12.

In 1989, he moved to Gurnik (Zabrze), but played in vain, for a season and a half went on the field in 28 matches and scored two goals. During the 1990/91 season, he returned to Bytom, playing for Polonia and Shomberki. He became the second scorer of the 1990/91 season in the first division with 19 goals, and in the 1991/92 season - the best scorer of the tournament (21 goals). In 1992, he returned to Gurnik, the second attempt became more successful - the forward scored 11 goals in a season.

In the first half of the 1993/94 season he played in the Swiss Championship for Lausanne , scoring one goal in 13 matches.

Returning to Poland, he joined the Steel team (Mielec), where he became the club's leading scorer. For half the 1993/94 season he scored seven times, in the 1994/95 season he scored 16 goals and became the top scorer of the championship. In the 1995/96 season, when his team took the penultimate place, he scored 13 goals. He began the 1996/97 season in Steel in the first division, but already in October he moved to Slask (Wroclaw), where the striker didn’t play well, he scored only two goals in 14 matches. In 1997, he returned to Bytom and played for the united club Polonia-Shomberki .

In total, he played 212 matches in the top division of Poland and scored 69 goals.

In 1999, he received a coaching license at the school of trainers of the Polish Football Union. He was a playing coach in the amateur teams “Polonia” (Laziska-Gurne) and “Odra” (Miastechko-Shljenske), later coached LZS (Zhiglin).

Died January 15, 2018 at the age of 53 years [1] .
