Biography
Born December 5, 1918 in the town of Krivoy Rog in the family of a mining engineer. Since 1926 he lived with his parents in Kharkov.
In 1941 he graduated from the physics department of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Kharkov University and in July-October 1941 - military courses at the F.E.Dzerzhinsky Artillery Academy. Until April 1947, he served in the army in air defense units.
From April 1947 to May 1948 he worked in laboratory No. 2 of the USSR Academy of Sciences in the department of I.K. Kikoin. In May 1948 he was seconded to Plant No. 813 (UECH), until 1950 he was on the staff of Laboratory No. 2. From 1950 to 1993, he worked at UECC (Ural Electrochemical Plant): in workshop No. 19, in department No. 27, in the department No. 15. From 1952 to 1962 he was the head of the computational and theoretical laboratory of the Central Laboratory of Law. In 1962-1988 - deputy chief engineer for scientific work, in 1988-1993 - researcher at workshop No. 20.
In 1955 he presented for defense a Ph.D. thesis "Theory of building schemes of diffusion plants." Its level turned out to be so high that Academician Millionaires member of the Scientific Council and Academician Kikoin, Chairman of the Council, proposed to recognize the dissertation at the same time as a doctoral and a candidate. As a result, he became a doctor of technical sciences and a candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. In 1959 he was awarded the academic title of professor.
He died on June 3, 1994 in Novouralsk, Sverdlovsk Region. He was buried at the Old Cemetery in the village of Verkh-Neyvinsky .
