Elizabeth Westenholz ( Dat. Elisabeth Westenholz ; born August 6, 1942 , Copenhagen ) is a Danish pianist.

She began to play the piano under the guidance of her parents, amateur pianists, then studied with the famous Danish teacher Harriet Esztergor-Andersen (1918–2014). She graduated from the Royal Conservatory in Copenhagen, a student of Esther Wagning and Arne Skoll Rasmussen. She also studied in the UK for some time with Patrick Piggot and Leoni Gombbrich Hawk .
Concerts since 1968. Best known as a performer of the works of Ludwig van Beethoven and Karl Nielsen . She toured as a soloist in different countries of the world, including Russia, where her performance of Dmitry Shostakovich’s works at the Four Seasons festival in St. Petersburg was highly appreciated by critics [1] . As an ensemble performs as part of a piano trio with Nikolai Madoev and Kim Bak Dinitsen . For many years she was also an organist at the Holmen Church in Copenhagen.
She recorded, in particular, all Beethoven's concerts (with the Collegium Musicum Chamber Orchestra of Copenhagen under the direction of Michael Schönwandt ) and all his works for cello and piano (with Ralph Kirschbaum ), two volumes of Niels Gade's piano compositions.
