Ochyrocera aragogue (lat.) Is a species of an araneomorphic spider of the genus Ochyrocera from the family Ochiokeratid spiders . Endemic to Brazil . Named after the talking spider Aragog , the hero of the novel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [1] [2] .

Brazil , caves in the northern state of Para , national forest Floresta Nacional de Carajás ( Parauapebas ) [1] .
Small spiders, reaching a length of 2.3 mm; the length of the carapace is 0.7 mm. The main color is yellowish green. Chelicera and legs light yellow; sternum yellowish gray. First described in 2018 by Brazilian zoologists Antonio D. Brescovit , Igor Tsizauskas ( Igor Cizauskas ) and Lendro Mota ( Leandro P. Mota , Butantan Institute , Sao Paulo , Brazil ) based on standard materials (females and males) discovered in the caves of northern Brazil [1] [3] .
