He graduated from the private school of acting Drama courses Rene Simon in Paris . Since 1952, he has been a Societer in Comedy Frances . On movie screens appeared in the films “ Notre Dame de Paris ” (1956), “Maigret and the Case of Saint-Fiaacre” (1959), “Montmartre Street, 125” (1959), “Treatment by Shock” (1972), “My Man” (1996 ) and a number of other paintings. In 1990, he won the Cesar Prize for his role in the film Winter 54, Abbot Pierre. He also starred on television, where he remembered Planchet’s role in the TV version of The Three Musketeers in 1959. Over the years of his eventful theatrical career, he won the Moliere Award five times.
