Veluta ( Belor. Veluta ) - agro town in the south-west of Belarus . The settlement is located in the Luninets district of the Brest region , part of the Bostynsky village council . The population of 1192 people (2009) [1] .

Geography
Veluta is located 22 km north of the town of Luninets . The agro-town stands on the left bank of the Tsna River . The Luninets - Baranavichy railway line (5 km to the west of Veluta there is the Ljushcha railway station) and the Luninets- Gantsevichi highway, with which Veluta is connected by a local road through Bostyn, passes near the village . To the north and northeast of Veluta lie extensive, partially reclaimed peatlands, to the northwest a small reservoir Veluta [2] .
Attractions
- Mass grave of Soviet soldiers, a monument to countrymen who died in the war. In 1967, the obelisk was installed [3] .
- The church that was built in the village in 1802 was lost in the post-war period [4] .
