It was named after the village of Reutovo, which received the status of a working village in 1928 and the status of the city in 1940 .

The station is a junction: a single-track dead-end electrified line to Balashikha goes north from the main passage. Electric trains are being circulated at the station (one pair per day).

History

From 1960-1961 Until 1989 [4] it was planned to build a metro station at the Reutovo platform [5] [6] [7] , but the project has not yet been implemented. Instead, in 2012 [8] the Novokosino metro station of the Kalinin-Solntsevskaya line of the Moscow metro was commissioned.

In the summer of 2007, platforms were reconstructed with the replacement of asphalt paving with tiles and the construction of new canopies and ticket offices.

 Station reconstruction plan

Since 2014, in connection with the construction of 4 main tracks on the Kursky Station - Zheleznodorozhnaya section, reconstruction of the track development of the station and platforms has begun. Electric trains in the direction from Moscow arrive at the central platform, the southern platform is demolished. New platforms are being built 300 m west of existing [9] . On the east side of the station, an overpass for electric trains to Balashikha is also being built through existing tracks, which will allow them to leave without waiting due to crossing with trains on the main passage [10] [11] [12] .

On May 10, 2019, a new platform was partially opened, continuing with a temporary wooden platform from the west. It began to make an electric train stop from Moscow, and from August to Moscow. A new underpass with ticket offices and turnstiles [13] [14] was also opened.

Infrastructure

At station 1, the passenger platform:

  • southern, island, serves the way from Moscow and to Moscow. Located 300 m west of the old platforms. The passage to it is through a separate underground passage.

Previously, there was also a southern side platform that served the main passage from Moscow and a northern side platform that served the way to Balashikha, as well as a central island platform that served the way to Moscow and from Moscow. Currently, all three are dismantled.

The platforms are connected by an underpass. Equipped with turnstiles . Driving time from the Kursk station is about 20 minutes.

Features following to Balashikha

Path configuration has its own specifics

Currently, trains to Balashikha do not stop at Reutovo station. The following information is outdated due to the demolition of old platforms.

  • the arrival of the train is announced: “Attention! Train from Moscow ”and immediately“ Attention! Train to Moscow. " "Attention! Train to Balashikha ”is said 1-2 times before appearing on the platform.
  • If the train follows with all the stops, it arrives at the central platform, therefore, passengers arriving from Zheleznodorozhny need only go through the platform (formally, you can also get a ticket, but in practice, only the date, but not the route, is checked on trains to Balashikha )
  • If the train does not have stops between Novogireevo and the Kursk station, and also turns around at the Reutovo station, it arrives at the northern platform.
