Geography
The village is located on the right bank of the Kidero River, 152 km south-west of the city of Makhachkala .
The nearest settlements are in the north-east - the village of Tsekhok , in the north-west - the village of Zekhida , in the south-west - the village of Elbok , in the south-east - the village of Kidero [1] .
History
Established in 2013 in accordance with the Resolution of the National Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan of September 26, 2013 No. 619-V “On Amendments to the Administrative-Territorial Structure of the Republic of Dagestan” [2] . The administrative center of the Tsunta district since 2017 [3] .
