Biography

Born in the city of Lucca, Tuscany. Ordered to the priest. Art and architecture studied at the Academy of. Luke in Rome.

He worked in other cities: Warsaw , Prague , in the Netherlands, in Vienna and in Pozhona ( Bratislava ), subsequently emigrated to the Austrian Empire.

During the construction of the baroque palace, Slavkov u Brno, Martinelli created an ensemble, which included Prince Kaunitz’s palace with circletresses and kurdoner, and rescheduled the palace settlement and created a new parish church there.

In Vienna, he designed the palace project of Liechtenstein (built in 1692 - 1702 ), which was modeled after the palace of Kiji-Odeskalki. The building was liked and became a kind of model for several palaces in the Austrian capital.
