Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Infantry Junker School in the 1st category. In 1868 he was released as ensign in the Moscow 65th Infantry Regiment . In 1874 he was promoted to lieutenant for “distinction in service”, in 1878 to staff captains for “distinction in service,” in 1881 he became captains.
Since 1875, the senior adjutant of the headquarters of the 38th Infantry Division . Member of the Russian-Turkish war . In 1893 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel . Since 1895 he was appointed serf quartermaster of the Brest-Litovsk fortress and the head of the Brest-Litovsk military hospital. In 1898 he was promoted to colonel "for distinction in service." Since 1903, an assistant to the district quartermaster of the Amur Military District .
In 1906 he was promoted to major general . Since 1908, he was appointed District Quartermaster of the Kazan Military District . In 1911 he was promoted to lieutenant general with dismissal.
