The twenty-third episode of the third season of “Blackish” served as a built-in pilot episode of the series, in which Yara Shahidi's heroine, Zoe Johnson, goes to college. Chris Parnell , Mallory Sparks, Matt Walsh and Trevor Jackson appeared in guest roles in the episode; it was assumed that in the case of the order of the spin-off, they may form the main cast [2] [3] [4] . In August 2017, Francia Rice won the role of Ana Torres, and Jordan Bouat - Vivek Shah. The musical duo of the sisters Chloe and Hally Bailey performed the supporting roles of the twins Sky and Jazz [6] .
