Biography
She was born on December 1, 1980 in Kharkov in a family of workers Petra and Polina Durnevyh. Graduated from Kharkov State Academy of Physical Culture. Single. Hobbies: skiing, literature, music, linguistics. The beginning of boxing at 25 years old.
Sports career
From 15 to 20 years, Lily was engaged in athletics: javelin throwing. In this sport, she became the winner of the Championship of Ukraine. Not having achieved much success in this sport, but having received good basic physical training and discipline, Lilia goes into boxing after 5 years, realizing her long-standing dream of becoming a boxer. On January 20, 2005, when Lilia was 25 years old, she was introduced to Koval Viktor Ivanovich, who became her permanent coach. Having persistently and extensively trained, forcing boxing training, Lilia, after 4 years, became the silver medalist of the European Championship, losing in the finals to the titled Russian Irina Sinetskaya. At the World Championships in 2010, boxing in the Olympic weight category up to 75 kg., Lilia becomes the bronze medalist of the Championship, having lost 4 fights and lost in the semifinals to World Champion from Canada Mary Spencer. Since the beginning of 2012, Lilia Durneva goes into the light heavyweight category, in which , in 2014, becomes the European Champion. Lilia Durneva is also the winner and winner of the largest international boxing tournaments. Champion of Ukraine from 2006 to 2014. Winner of the Cup of Ukraine from 2005 to 2015.
