Barrojuba (lat.) Is a genus of small myrmecophilic beetles from the subfamily Pselaphinae ( Staphylinidae ). The generic name comes from the name of the island on which the type species was discovered - Barro Colorado Island [1] .

Description
Small short-winged beetles are palpable , body length less than 3 mm. They have a smooth convex apex of the head. The main color is yellowish or reddish brown. Fronto-antennal projection wide and deeply notched. Pronotum without subbasal transverse groove. Antennae 11-segmented. Paws with two claws. The genus was first isolated in 1942 by the American entomologist Orlando Park ; It is included in the Jubini tribe from the Euplectitae ( Faronitae ) tributary . 6 species [1] [2] .
