Victor Ilyich Schwartz (born April 9, 1950 , Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian writer, poet, journalist, and publisher. The author of a number of performances and musicals. President of Schwartz Publishing House. Member of the Russian PEN Center , International Union of Journalists, International Lyons Club. Winner of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation . Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation ( 1999 ) [1] [2]

Biography
He graduated from the philological faculty of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. From 1971 he worked as a correspondent for the Moskovskaya Pravda newspaper, from 1974 to 1991 - in the newspaper Sovetskaya Kultura . Author of numerous articles related to issues of history, culture and literature, published in various Russian and foreign publications. In 1991, he created one of the first non-governmental publications in Russia - the newspaper “Private Life”, and then other publications - such as “Field of Miracles”, “Secret Power”, “Confrontation”, and “Medical Secrets”. Victor Schwartz is also the author of the libretto of several performances and musicals. According to his scripts, the performance “City and Peace” was staged for Yuri Kuklachev , the musical “The Doll of the Tutti Heir” (based on the tale of Yu. Olesha “ Three Fat Men ”) in the Olimpiysky sports complex (the main roles were played by Larisa Dolina and Pavel Smeyan ) [3] , "Lefty" and "Svetlana" for the Tula State Circus and others. Victor Schwartz is the author of the documentary book “The Flash of Magnesium”, poetry collections “Why to be ashamed of tears” and “66th fast”, the poem “The Invalid Market”, and the memoirs “Private Life”. The author’s CDs by Yuri Peterson “Transitional Age” and Anatoly Kalvarsky's “Old Album” were released on his poems. Songs on Schwartz’s verses are performed by Mikhail Boyarsky , Nikolai Karachentsov , Larisa Dolina , Pavel Smeyan , Yuri Kuklachev , Sergey Rogozhin and other performers. [four]
