History
In 1638, in the sentinel book of the Kozelsky district on the Russian side of the Dubenskaya Zaseka , among other settlements, the village of Nagaya was also mentioned. The proximity of the village to the serif line gives the right to assert that the population provided a militia to protect the Kozelsk serif line [2] .
In the List of Populated Places of the Kaluga Province for 1859, Nagaya is listed as the owner village of the Kozelsky Uyezd at the Pesochenka River, which consisted of 29 yards and 2 factories [3] . After the reform of 1861, the village, together with 18 other villages, entered Betovskaya volost and received the status of a village.
