GlobalLogic is one of the largest players in the market of IT outsourcing and R&D industry. The company provides software development services, including user experience design , product and content engineering , and the creation of research laboratories [6] .
The company specializes in working with big data analysis, cloud data warehouses , embedded systems and the concept of the Internet of things . Actively develops design practice, integration of development and operation , is engaged in the creation of mobile applications , as well as security [6] .
The products that are being worked on in the Ukrainian division of GlobalLogic include [7] :

- server solutions for the Harmonic video broadcasting system [8]
- Nautilus platform for car multimedia systems [9] ,
- wireless solutions for Cambium that are used by Internet service providers and allow you to transfer data over a distance of 100 km [7] ,
- Embedded software for medical devices such as insulin pumps and defibrillators [10] .
In addition, GlobalLogic has developed a mobile application for the Los Angeles Galaxy football club [11] .

History
- Induslogic
In 2000, four friends Rajul Garg, Manoj Agarwala, Sanjay Singh and Tarun Upadhyay founded a company called IndusLogic. Although headquartered in Virginia , USA, the largest development center was in India [1] . The company was engaged in offshore outsourcing , custom software development. IndusLogic provided its services to companies from the financial sector, telecommunications and retail [13] . For example, one of the customers was the Boston telecommunications company Pingtel [14] .
Outsourcing of software development at IndusLogic was beneficial to customer companies due to the lower remuneration of engineers in India [15] . American companies decided to outsource if this allowed them to save at least 30% of their costs, but transferring production to India was even more profitable, because the savings were 60-80% [16] . The popularity of the outsourcing model has become so high that in 2004-2006 the number of IndusLogic employees doubled annually. In mid-2004, the company employed about 250 people [16] , and by the end of 2005 - already about 600 employees [17] .
Over the five years of its existence, IndusLogic has become one of the largest outsourcing companies in India, with more than 1,000 employees and an annual revenue of about $ 30 million [18] . In addition to the natural development of the existing business, takeover options for smaller companies began to be considered. In April 2006, IndusLogic acquired Lambent Technologies, a company based in Nagpur , India, employing about 225 employees [19] .
- Globallogic
On September 25, 2006, it announced a merger with Bonus Technology, an American company from New Jersey , which owns a development center in Kiev , Ukraine . The expansion of the company outside of India caused the name to be changed to GlobalLogic [20] . The number of employees of the new multinational company was about 1,500 people [21] .
In 2007, GlobalLogic continued its aggressive search and merger of small and medium-sized companies, not limited to the Indian market. In the spring of 2007, GlobalLogic purchased the Kewill R&D department, and relocated 65 employees from Indian Aurangabad to Pune [22] [6] . 2008 brought three more takeovers: first, Chinese Dalian 3 CIS and Ukrainian Validio Software became a part of GlobalLogic, and at the end of the year GlobalLogic entered the Israeli market by purchasing InterObject, a company that develops embedded software, mobile and multimedia products [23] .
Over the next years, GlobalLogic continued to grow. In 2010, the takeover of the Argentinean company Cubika, whose headquarters were in Buenos Aires , and offices in La Plata and Mendoza, took place [24] . In 2011, GlobalLogic opened an office in Chile [25] and also acquired Rofous Software, a large product and content company, with offices in Milpitas (California), Redmond (Washington) and Hyderabad (India) . Finally, at the end of 2011, the design agency Method became a part of GlobalLogic [26] .
By 2013, the total number of employees was about 8,000, of which 4,600 were in India. Other major engineering centers were in Europe and South America. Most of the customers (about 70%) were in the USA [1] .
In 2014, GlobalLogic opened a new development center in Indian Nagpur [27] , as well as two European offices: in Kosice ( Slovakia ) [28] and Krakow ( Poland ) [29] . The continuation of European expansion was the purchase in 2016 of the Polish company REC Global, which develops embedded software, with a total number of employees over 500 people in Poland, Slovakia and Croatia [30] .
Investors
In the early years of the company, several private equity funds were involved in its financing, including New Enterprise Associates , Sequoia Capital , Westbridge Capital , Goldman Sachs and New Atlantic Ventures . In 2011, GlobalLogic planned to enter the IPO , but the exchange did not enter the exchange [31] .
By the end of 2013, the company was bought by the Apax Partners investment fund for 420 million dollars . The head of Apax's Indian office, Shashank Singh, and his team watched GlobalLogic for three years before deciding to buy the company [1] .
At the beginning of 2017, Apax Partners sells half of the shares (48% of the company) to the Canadian investment fund CPP Investment Board . The financial details of the transaction remained unknown, however, the estimated cost of the company amounted to $ 1.5 billion. The number of company employees by this time exceeded 11,000 people [6] .
In May 2018, Apax Partners announced the sale of a 48% stake in GlobalLogic to the Swiss investment company Partners Group [32] . After closing the transaction, CPPIB and Partners Group will hold equal shares in GlobalLogic. During the transaction, the company was valued in excess of $ 2 billion [33] .
Financial Performance
According to experts, at the time of the sale of 48% of the company to a Canadian investment fund in early 2017, the total value of GlobalLogic was about one and a half billion dollars . Thus, in the four years since the purchase of the company by the Apax investment fund in 2013, its value has more than tripled [4] .
In fiscal 2017, revenue was projected to be in the order of $ 450 million, with an operating margin of in 20% [6] . Actual annual revenue exceeded $ 550 million , which brought the company closer to the goal of reaching $ 1 billion by 2020 [3] .
