Biography
Pupil of the football school "Young Dynamo" Tbilisi . In 1975, he began to play for the double Dynamo Tbilisi . He made his debut in the USSR championship on October 11, 1976 - in a home match against Voroshilovgrad “Dawn” (3-0) he replaced in the 67th minute instead of Daraselia . He was not the main player - in 1976-1981 he played 50 games in the championship. In 1982-1983 he played 49 games for Torpedo (Kutaisi) . In 1984 he returned to Dynamo, spent two games in the championship. He ended his career in 1985 at Torpedo - 28 games, 4 goals.
Silver medalist of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR in 1979 as part of the Georgian SSR team. [2]
In the 1980 USSR Cup final, he scored a goal against Shakhtar Donetsk (1: 2). In the victory for Dynamo Cup Winners' Cup 1980/81 he played three matches, scored one goal.
After completing his football career, he was engaged in business in Moscow , then returned to Tbilisi. [3]
