Biography

In the army in the Great Patriotic War from 1942 to 9.5.1945, three times wounded.

He was born on April 5, 1924 in the aul No. 14 of the now Baiganinsky district of the Aktobe region of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a peasant family. Kazakh. Member of the CPSU since 1956. Secondary education.

At the front

In 1942 he was drafted into the Red Army. Since December 1943, he participated in battles with the Nazi invaders. He was a sapper of the 81st separate assault engineering and combat engineer battalion on the Kalinin, Leningrad and 1st Belorussian fronts [1] .

Feat

On February 11-13, 1944, Private Yeshbaev with a group of soldiers in a battle near the settlement of Uhekonna (northeast of Mustanye, Estonia ) captured an enemy 6-barrel mortar. By order of April 9, 1944, Private Sarsengali Yeshbaev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree (N 17887) [1] .

On the night of June 13, 1944, west of Terioka (Zelenogorsk, Leningrad City Council), Corporal Yeshbaev, along with other sappers, quickly made passages in the minefields and wire fences of the enemy, set signs that provided the shooters with access to the Raivolanyoki River and forcing it. On the opposite bank, in battle under mortar fire of the enemy, he was the first to attack, destroying 5 enemy soldiers. He was wounded, but went to the medical battalion only after the battle, on the orders of the commander [1] .

By order of July 4, 1944, Private Sarsengali Yeshbaev was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree (14 3242). Sapper Yeshbaev also fought bravely on Polish soil. On the night of January 14, 1945, Corporal Yeshbaev with sappers made passages in minefields and wire fences in the vicinity of the town of Pszyla (9 km southwest of the city of Varka, Poland ). Under enemy fire, sappers calmly continued their dangerous business. Corporal Yeshbaev personally cleared 16 anti-tank and many anti-personnel mines and marked the passages [1] .

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 6, 1945, for the exceptional courage, courage and fearlessness shown in battles with the Nazi invaders, Sergeant Yeshbaev Sarsengali was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree (No. 115). He became a full holder of the Order of Glory [1] .

After the army

Petty Officer Yeshbaev was demobilized in 1947. He returned to his homeland. Until 1954, he worked as a passportist in Aktyubinsk . For family reasons, he moved closer to his native village. He began working as a policeman in the village of Nogayti in the Baiganinsky district, for more than 20 years he guarded the peace of his fellow villagers. Then he worked at the Nurgatinsk state farm, at the Sazdinsk reservoir of the Aktobe region [1] . After retiring in 1985, he returned to Aktyubinsk. Participant of the Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow in 1985 and 1995. He died on April 3, 1998. He was buried in the cemetery of the village of Kyzylzhar [1] .
