Mohamed Najib Ahmad Dawa

In 1977 he graduated from the Pedagogical College of Sultan Idris (Perak), in 1989 - the University of Sciences of Malaysia (Pinang), in 1992 - a magistracy from the City University of Manchester (England), in 1995 - the same doctorate ^[1] . In 1977-1989 worked at the Ministry of Education, from 1989-1995. - Lecturer at the University of Science of Malaysia. In 2005-2007 - Dean of the School of Arts, University of Sciences of Malaysia, in 2007-2009 - Director General of the National Art Gallery, in 2009 - Rector of the Academy of Arts and People’s Heritage ^[2] , in 2010–2016 - Professor of the Pedagogical University of Sultan Idris ^[3] , since 2015 - again Director General of the National Art Gallery.

Works in batik technique. The most famous works: “The sprout of batik” (1984), “Return to the main” (1997). Pictures were exhibited at exhibitions in Malaysia, England, USA, France, South America, China, Brunei, Thailand, Mauritius, Reunion ^[4] .
