Bakharevka is the airport of local airlines in the city of Perm .
Not used in aviation.
History
It was founded in 1957 . Earlier, since 1939, there was an “ air terminal ” near the Perm Perm Fair Exhibition Center (65 Gagarina Boulevard).
From Bakharevka flights were operated not only throughout the region, but also to Tomsk , Leningrad , Moscow and Alma-Ata . The airfield could not receive Tu-104 type aircraft, so a new Bolshoye Savino airport was organized on the basis of the military airport of the same name. Since the 1960s, Bakharevka began to serve only local airlines .
It was also used by military aircraft . Since the mid-1990s, it has been used sporadically, and in April 2007, the bankrupt FSUE Second Perm State Aviation Enterprise, which was in charge of the airport, was sold at auction. The Perm authorities, represented by Governor Viktor Basargin, plan to build an economy class housing area on the airport site. [one]
The airfield was also used for car racing and rock concerts. Since 2006, the Rock-Line Festival has been held annually at the airport.
