Biography
After graduating from the 1st Moscow Cadet Corps and the Nikolaev Engineering Academy in 1st category, second lieutenants were produced in 1862. In 1864 he was promoted to lieutenant . In 1866 he was promoted to headquarters captain , in 1871 he was promoted to captain.
Since 1876 he was appointed assistant senior adjutant, and senior adjutant of the Field Engineering Directorate of the army, in 1877 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel . Member of the Russian-Turkish war . In 1879 he was appointed senior adjutant of the Engineering Department of the temporary commission of the army, in 1880 he was promoted to colonel .
In 1883, he was appointed construction assistant of the Ivangorod fortifications and head of military buildings outside the fortress of the Warsaw Military District .
In 1892 he was promoted to major general and appointed head of the engineering department of the Brest-Litovsk fortress . Since 1896 he was appointed head of the engineering department of the Turkestan military district . From 1897 he was appointed head of the engineering department of the Finland Military District , in 1903 he was promoted to lieutenant general . Since 1904, he was appointed head of the engineering department of the Odessa Military District . Since 1905, he was appointed assistant to the chief of the Main Engineering Department of the War Ministry and chairman of the economic committee of the Engineering Castle . In 1910 he was promoted to general engineer with dismissal.
