Znaurkau ( Osset. Znauyrhuku ) is a village in Transcaucasia . Located in the Znaursky district of South Ossetia , which actually controls the village; according to the jurisdiction of Georgia - in the Karelian municipality of the Shida-Kartli region .

It is located off the coast of the Prone Medium (a tributary of the Kura River ) on the south-eastern outskirts of the district center of the urban-type settlement Znaur .
