Located in the Znauri district of South Ossetia , which actually controls the village; according to the jurisdiction of Georgia - in the Karelian municipality of the Shida-Kartli region .

Geography
It is located off the left bank of the Prone Sredna River (a tributary of the Kura River ) at the eastern outskirts of the district center of the urban-type Znaur settlement.
Population
The village is inhabited by ethnic Ossetians . [7] In 1987, it was non-residential. [5]
