History
Start (2010-2011)
Founder Ben Schneider began writing music in his hometown of Okemos, Michigan. Schneider continued to study visual art at the University of Michigan and completed his studies in France before moving to New York, where he worked as an artist. In 2005, Schneider moved to Los Angeles. In 2010, Ben created Lord Huron as a solo project, recording his first few EPs entirely on his own and constantly adding a group of new people to play live shows, most of which he had known since childhood.
Lonesome Dreams (2012-2013)
Their first full-length album, Lonesome Dreams, was released on October 9, 2012. He reached No. 3 on the Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart, selling 3,000 copies in its first week. The album sold 87,000 copies in the United States in April 2015.
Strange Trails (2014-2017)

Vide Noir (2018-p.t)
On January 19, 2018, Instagram made a small hint of the upcoming new album. On January 22, a small fragment of the song was posted: on the background is a magic ball, which depicts "Emerald Star" (Emerald Star) - the main "chip" of the album, and also the name of the album: Vide Noir. On January 24, the album was officially announced on all social networks, including YouTube. An album release date was set for April 20, 2018. During the first quarter, once a month, the following songs were available for listening:

Products of the Universe with Marsha Tanley
On the eve of the release of Vide Noir, an official YouTube account was broadcast. It was made on the principle of a shopping store (a man comes to the presenter, offering the audience his "space" goods). Between their dialogs, cuts are inserted into the video with a group who are performing their new music from the Vide Noir album. Also in the video, perhaps, new music is noticeable, which is periodically played in the form of small fragments of the video, in which fragments from the movie "Vide Noir" are presented.
