Artemis appeared in the Thor # 129 comic (1966) and was coined by Stan Lee and Jack Curby.
She appeared in the comics and crossovers Thor Annual # 5 (1976), The Avengers # 281 (July 1987), # 283-284 (September-October 1987), Incredible Hulk: Hercules Unleashed'Unleashed (October 1996), Hercules # 4 ( September 2005), Thor: Boold Oath # 3-4 (December 2005 - January 2006), Ares # 1 (March 2006), # 3 (May 2006).

Fictional Biography
Artemis went to Earth in a place with Hermes and Dionysus to capture the Avengers on the orders of Zeus , since Zeus considered them guilty that Hercules was badly damaged in the battle with the Lords of Evil. Three Olympic gods fought with the Avengers, Artemis fired her magic arrow at Captain Marvel , the arrow seriously wounded him but did not kill him [1] . She captured Osa and gave it to Zeus, then several other gods rebelled against him, they kept the Avengers in battle [2] . Artemis started the battle with Captain Marvel for the second time, this time he was able to defeat her [3] .
Apollo Artemis and Hephaestus at a secret meeting with Pluto and Hero began to come up with a plan of attack on the Avengers [4] .
