Geography
The village is located in the north-east of Poland, at a distance of about 19 kilometers north-west of the city of Siemiatycze , the administrative center of the county. The absolute height is 159 meters above sea level [2] . To the west of Grodzisk, the regional highway 690 passes.
History
According to the “Index to populated areas of the Grodno province, with the necessary information related thereto”, in 1905, 250 people lived in the village of Gorodisk . Administratively, the village was the center of the Gorodisky volost of the Belsky district (3rd camp) [3] . In the period from 1975 to 1998, the village was part of the Bialystok Voivodeship .
