The women's speed skating competition at a distance of 1,500 meters at the 2018 Winter Olympics was held on February 12 at the Gangneung Olympic Oval . The competition was attended by 27 athletes from 14 countries. Qualification for the Games was carried out according to the results of four stages of the 2017/2018 World Cup. The competition starts at 21:30 local time ( UTC + 9 ).
The current Olympic champion was the Dutch skater Jorin Ter Morse , who, according to the results of the national , held from December 26 to 30 at the Tialf ice arena in Heerenveen [1], was selected for the Games in Pyeongchang, but only at distances of 500 and 1000 meters.
