History
The state-owned village of Gusikha is mentioned in the List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire according to information for 1859. The village was located along a country road from the city of Nikolaevsk to Samara and belonged to the Nikolaev district of the Samara province . 578 men and 703 women lived in the village [2] . According to the List of populated areas of the Samara province, according to information for 1889, the village belonged to the Porubezhsky volost of the Nikolaev district of the Samara province . 2179 inhabitants, Russians and Mordovians lived in the village. The land allotment was 4414 acres of convenient and 660 acres of uncomfortable land. In the village there was a church, a zemstvo school, a zemstvo station, 16 windmills [3] . According to the census of 1897, 1606 people lived in the village, of which 1599 were Orthodox [4]
