Valery Konstantinovich Yashkin (December 20, 1940, Petrozavodsk - January 10, 1997, Moscow) - Soviet musician. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. One of the founders of VIA Pesnyary (the original name is Lyavona ).

Biography
He met with Vladimir Mulyavin and other first participants of the Pesnyary VIA in 1965 while serving in the army (Belarusian Military District).
The group - the predecessor of Pesnyarov, then called Lyavona, included Vladimir Mulyavin (vocals, guitar), Leonid Tyshko (bass), Vladislav Misevich (flute, saxophone, vocals). Valery played keyboards and lyre [1] . He performed in the ensemble (intermittently) until 1977.
He graduated from the Theater Institute, Higher Directing Courses at GITIS . Taught at RATI , Associate Professor. PhD in Art History [2]
He was buried at Mitinsky cemetery .
