Chambers, John Dillon

John Dillon Chambers ( eng. John Dillon Chambers , 1842 - June 1930 ) - Scottish chess player . One of the strongest chess players in Scotland in the last quarter of the 19th century . Champion of Scotland in 1891. The tournament was held in Glasgow , Chambers finished the competition with one hundred percent result, winning in all five games. He also participated in the 2nd Congress of the Irish Chess Association ( Belfast , 1886). Chambers was fond of the game of correspondence . His parties are known for playing in a tournament organized by J. B. Fraser in 1891.
