Araišu street ( Latvian Āraišu iela ) is a street in the Vidzeme suburb of Riga , in the Teika microdistrict. It starts from the intersection with Aizkraukles and Talivalzha streets ; ends with the intersection with Bikernieku street .

Throughout it has an asphalt surface, 2 lanes. The total length of the street is 859 meters [1] . Public transport does not run along the street.
History
Araišu Street was laid during the construction of the residential area “Savs stūrītis” ( Russian “Your Corner” ); the name was assigned on September 19, 1929 [2] . Initially, the street passed only to Struktora street , and on the maps of the 1930s its section from Bayaru street to Struktora street has a separate name - “ Saulisha street ” ( Latvian. Saulīša iela ). On July 9, 1937, Araishu Street was extended to Bikernieku Street [2] .
There were no renamed streets [3] .
Architecture
The construction of Araishu Street is predominantly private, low-rise, dating back to the 1930s.
Residential buildings No. 7 (architect , 1939), No. 12 (architect T. Hermanovskis, 1936), No. 16 (architect G. Werner, 1937), No. 18 (architect D. Bethers, 1936), No. 26 (architect T. Khermanovskis, 1935) and No. 28 (architect A. Kalnins, 1935) are protected monuments of local architecture [4] .
In June 2005, the modern комплексraišu nams residential complex, located at the end of Araishu Street [5] , was commissioned.
