Naked ( born naked - naked) - the style of a motorcycle . A characteristic feature of Naked is the lack of plastic cladding (plastic), which may be present on a similar motorcycle, or even available on some models, as well as the absence of a windshield.
Naked can either be produced by the motorcycle manufacturer or be made its owner by removing the plastic lining. Initially, the Nakedos were made from sports bikes with broken plastic. Then, when the fashion for Nakeda spread, a number of manufacturers began to produce motorcycles without plastic. Currently, a number of motorcycles are available in two versions: with plastic and without. The main purpose of Nakedos is to ride around the city. No plastic means it cannot be broken when dropped or hit. Although the lack of fairings affects the frontal resistance of the motorcycle, but when driving around the city it is not significant.
Motorcycles on which plastic fairings (or semi-fairings) are not used cannot be classified as nakedos. An example is a chopper or enduro , whose style does not include fairings.
