History

February 2009 is the foundation.
October 2010 - showing the first series of Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai .
October 2013 - launch of services in the UK with the support of Anime Limited (no longer available).
July 2014 - announcement of the creation of Wakanim Music, a service for access to Asian music.
February 2015 - Launch of Wakanim Music (no longer available).
April 2015 - Aniplex becomes Wakanim's main investor.
March 2016 - the emergence of a monthly paid subscription.
October 2016 - the anime series Drifters is being released in French at the same time as showing in Japan, in collaboration with the J-One TV channel.
June 2017 - arrival of the company in Scandinavia.
September 2017 - announcement of the start of work in Germany and Austria, in collaboration with Service AkibaPass.
January 2018 - the beginning of work in Russia [2] . The translation is carried out by the Istari comics publishing house , dubbing is performed by the Studio Gang creative association.
