Biography
Born in 205 BC. e. in the city of Linji, Qi Province (near the modern city of Jibo , Russian province). From his youth he studied the treatment, first from Gunsun Guan, then from 180 BC. e. for three years at Gunsen Yang Qing , who, having almost reached 70 years old, had no sons and therefore decided to pass on all his knowledge to Chunyu I.
Continuing medical practice, he became head of grain warehouses put on Qi. In his medical practice, he did not pay attention to the social status of patients and numerous notable families were offended by him. In 176 BC. e. He received a complaint that led to corporal punishment and expulsion to the western capital, Chang'an . His youngest daughter Tiin submitted to Emperor Wen-di a petition for pardon of her father, in which she said that she was ready to sacrifice herself and become a state slave for her sake. Touched by her selflessness, the emperor not only pardoned Chunyu, but also repealed the law on grievous corporal punishment. Already at home, Chunyuy received the highest message with questions: how he mastered medical knowledge, what books he used, how many people healed, what diagnosis he made and about treatment methods. From that moment on, Chanyu continued to practice medicine at home, where he died in 150 BC. e.
Medicine
From his last teacher he received several secret recipes (bifan), as well as ancient medical books - “Bian Qiao moshu” (“Bian Qiao’s Book on Pulses”), “Usa chen” (“Diagnostics in Five Colors”), “Kuydu Ying Yang” vaibian "(" Evaluation of yin and yang for external changes) "," Sishen "(" Spirit of the stone ").
He was one of the first to keep a history of diseases, recording when and under what conditions the patient fell ill, the symptoms of the disease, the diagnosis made, what treatment was prescribed and what the results were.
