Galitsyn, Grigory Alexandrovich

Galitsin studied classical painting in Leningrad, but later turned to photography. His first camera, an early model of Leica Camera , was presented to him by his grandfather, who bought it from a German officer in 1947 ^[3] . In 1997, Galitsyn received the Master Kodak award ^[4] .

In 1996, Galitsyn, who by that time had established himself as an erotic photographer in Volgograd, began to provide content on adult websites.

In 1998, he became the main provider for the recently created adult website, Most Erotic Teens (the predecessor of MET-ART ), and also provided content for another adult website, DOMAI ^{[4] [5]} .

In 2002, he left MET and launched the Galitsin-Archives website as a joint project with Norwegian photographer Petter Hegre . Due to the conflict with Hegre, in 2004, Galitsin closed the Galitsin-Archives and founded his own website galitsin-news.com

In 2006, Galitsyn also began working with the partner site Nud-Art.

Most of the photos and videos of Galitsin were shot in the Volgograd region, and sometimes in hotels in Moscow. Galitsyn’s apartment (in the house formerly known as the residence of the poetess Margarita Agashina and the mayor Yuri Chekhov ) was also converted into a high-tech pornographic studio. His activity as a pornographer was largely unknown to neighbors, although they noted the rich lifestyle of Gregory for the province.

Sometimes he traveled abroad with his models to countries such as Egypt and India ^[6] .

His work, as a rule, consisted of nude erotica, although some sets of videos were converted to hardcore pornography, usually depicting masturbation, lesbian sex and urination ^{[7] [8] [9]} .

On September 17, 2006, Galitsyn and his wife, Irina Aleksandrovna Pischasova (who was also one of his models, speaking under the name Valentina) were arrested in Volgograd ^[10] , accused of violating Article 133 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Compulsion to sexual acts”) and Article 242.1 (“Production and circulation of materials or objects with pornographic images of minors”) ^[5] . On October 26, he filed a petition to Russian President Vladimir Putin and asked for intervention on his behalf. According to a second letter prepared for Putin in May 2007, Galitsyn was also in custody awaiting trial. In March, Irina was again taken into custody. ^[11] . Galitsyn and his wife were released from prison in early 2009, although Galitsyn continued to face additional charges. ^[12]

Galitsyn, Irina and their three children live in the Kalachevsky district , where he invested his savings in an “experimental farm”. Here Galitsyn grows and grows pigs and chickens of rare breeds. He is no longer engaged in professional photography, except for documentation of his farming activities and family life ^{[13] [14]} .

Since the end of 2017, Galitsyn has been returning to photography and has been actively collaborating with Shutterstock stock agency supplying large numbers of photos and video content.

Since 2018, Galitsyn begins to cooperate with the Adobe Stock stock agency supplying a large number of photos and video content
