Abyssoberyx levisquamosus (lat.) Is a species of ray-finned fish , the only representative of the genus Abyssoberyx from the stefanoberix family [1] .

DescriptionThe body is covered with cycloid scales . There are 1-2 spiny rays in the dorsal fin . Gill stamens 5–7 + 17–20. The maximum body length is 16.8 cm [3] .
